AAHOO KHANA

AAHOO KHANA is situated accros the river Tapti just in front of the fort in the Eastern part of village zainabad. It was a place of hunting for the kings at the time of Farooqi rule. In 1601 when King Akbar captured the fort in Burhanpur his son Prince Daniyal was appointed incharge (Subedar) in Burhanpur. Daniyal was quite impressed with aahoo khana and he developed this place by beautiful gardens, streems, canals and protected byramparts due to which it is still in a very good condition.
