At MAY show classes 7,8,9 are qualifiers for the BHS Championships
1ST AND 2ND PLACED COMPETITORS IN CLASSES 6,7,8,AND 9 ARE ELIGABLE FOR WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIPS.

10a.- Riden Mountain and Moorland - Welsh C \ D, Dales, Connemara, Fells, Highland New Forest to be shown in natural state
10b.- Ridden Mountain and Moorland - Welsh A \ B, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland to be shown in natural state.
11. Ridden Arab - Pure, Part-bred or Anglo

Qualifiers in the Mountain and Moorland classes must be fully registered with their breed society to qualify for the BHS Championships

23. Young Handlers - Pony any height, handler 10 years and under judged on handlers skill and ability to show their pony in - hand

Handy Equine classes will be open for 2 hours in the morning and anyone entering these classes must compete within these times.
30. Bonny Pony \ Horse - Pet animals only show ponies will not be considered eligible.
At MAY Show Classes 28 and 29 are qualifiers for the BHS Championships
RING 4 judging starts 12 noon

32. Absolute beginners - fences 1’9” Max (first round) - Not to have been placed in any jumping or working hunter class, OR 1st \ 2nd in the previous years ENTRIES IN THIS CLASS MAY ONLY ENTER THIS CLASS AND A NOVICE CLASS.
33. Novice Jumping ( Pony ) 14.2hh & under Fences 1st round 2’

NOTES ON JUMPING CLASSES
Please note rules regarding HARD HATS, WHIPS & SPURS. Riders must recover a lost hat before continuing, they may dismount or have the hat handed to them without penalty, unless they are in a timed jump - off when the clock will not be stopped. NOVICE is a combination of horse and rider not to have won a first prize in any jumping compition or cross country event in the previous year. A standard may be introduced if numbers warrant.

NOTES;
HARD HATS WITH CHIN STRAPSFASTENED MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMESWHEN MOUNTED. RIDERS MUST RECOVER A LOST HAT BEFORE CONTINUING. THEY MAY DISMOUNT OR HAVE THE HAT HANDED TO THEM WITHOUT PENALTY,UNLESS THEY ARE IN A TIMED JUMP OFF WHEN THE CLOCK WILL NOT BE STOPPED. CORRECT DRESS MUST BE WORN IN THE RING. ONCE AN ENTRY HAS BEEN ACCEPTED NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE CORRECT FEE.WHIPS MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 30" IN LENGTH. HEIGHT LIMITS MUST BE ABIDED BY. SPURS MAY ONLY BE WORN BY SENIOR RIDERS (15 YRS & OVER ) AND MUST BE BLUNT WITHOUT SHARP EDGES OR ROWELS.
