 Intercessors'
Reports: Mainz, Aachen, Bonn and Dusseldorf
By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after
the people had marched around them for seven days (Heb 11:30, NIV).
A group of 16 Intercessors visited Mainz, Aachen, Bonn,
Koln and Dusseldorf
We arrived in Mainz and were received by 2 local pastors.
Alan Oliveira, the leader of the group, shared about his calling and love for Germany. We
prayed for the city and the area, agreed together and blessed in faith the growth of unity
amongst the leaders in that area.
In Aachen the group was welcomed by Andreas & Marion.
Afterwards the group went to a morning meeting in a local Vineyard church where Isaiah 44
was shared, the Holy Spirit was evidently at work in peoples lives as some responded with
joy and others with brokenness.
In the afternoon Pr. Horst Krueger led the meeting, he had
been a missionary in Brazil for 20 years. We walked through Aachen, praying in the main
places, from there we went to the borders with Belgium and Netherlands, which are 20
minutes from the city centre. We wept and prayed with fervour for the 3 nations, asking
the Lord to return them to Him. In the evening we had a wonderful time in the Vineyard
Fellowship, with a group of about 200 people, including a number of local pastors and
leaders of other fellowships. We had German, English, Indonesian, Colombian, African and
Brazilian people in the same meeting. The key words for that night were UNITY IN LOVE.
In Bonn we were received by Pr. Mario. Although he is
Brazilian, his parents moved to Germany when he was 4yrs old. He is a beloved man of God,
full of passion and commitment to the Lord. He led us in a prayer walk through Beethoven's
city. We prayed in front of the Parliament holding hands, and also by the river Rhine,
where we asked for the flow of God's river through Germany. We also prayed in the city
centre, where people were killed because of their faith. A celebration was arranged for
the evening, when Pr. Vinci (Vitoria, Brazil) shared about being practical in our love for
one another. The Holy Spirit was poured out and we wept as we prayed for each other. Many
were touched in a wonderful way. |
