 Intercessors'
Reports - Cardiff
What a privilege to meet up with a group of men and women
who were praying along side us for our country and our city. We met first of all in
Calvary Baptist Church and I was immediately taken with their level of faith. I know that
faith is a gift from God but I do believe that as we see God in action in our lives, we
see an increase in faith in and around our Christian communities. They made it very clear
that they had only come to stand alongside us and not to take over, they brought such a
depth of love of Jesus in their lives to share with us. Wherever they were this love
radiated accompanied by such humility. It was a real privilege to be with them and see and
experience God's power at work, learning from them love, grace and giving.

| Intercessors Praying for Welsh Christians in
Brecon |
God seems to be mixing up the nations of the world in an
extraordinary way at this time: we need one another, with our different distinctives, our
different flavours, to understand more fully what God has prepared for those who love Him,
and also what He requires of us in Wales and in our individual cities, towns and villages.
The Brazilian visit helped to open our spiritual eyes to what Jesus is doing across HIS
world and to remind us that we are a part of all of this, no matter how small we are.
I believe that this visit and the visit of other
"foreigners" to Wales to pray at this time is a sign of God's mercy over our
nation. There are some wonderful verses in the Old Testament of God hearing and answering
when the "foreigner" comes and prays. As a group representing a nation, the
Brazilians brought a sense of celebration and party, and as individual leaders they
brought a deep understanding of continuing prayer whilst in revival and leadership
strategy to see revival sustained.
PRAYER IN THE CARDIFF CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER
We all met back together in Cardiff Centre and were able to
pray in the City Hall council chamber. We could not believe we were in there and we felt
that this was an act of anointing the new Welsh Assembly and claiming them as men and
women who would serve God in all their ways. It was one of the most moving events I have
ever attended. Wandering into the chamber at the beginning singing "Alleluia"
was truly amazing. The sound of the singing sounded like the singing of a mighty army
which was going to rout the enemy in no uncertain terms. We anointed the seats and finally
the Brazilians prayed for the remnant that are left...which is you....which is me ...to
get on
with the task of claiming our city, our nation for God.
PRAYING IN MORIAH CHAPEL, LOUGHOR
One afternoon they went to Moriah Chapel, Loughor. The
place were Revival broke out through Evan Robert's ministry there. This is a
Welsh-speaking Reformed Presbyterian Church. David Ward shared the history and asked the
Brazilians to pray. They prayed and even went to pray with the ladies from the church who
had laid on the refreshments. They always made sure everybody received prayer even those
in the kitchen preparing the food.

at Moriah Chapel, the place where a group of young Welsh Christians prayed led by Robert
Evans, and revival started. |
They opened up the rest of the church so that the
Brazilians could pray through it. Later on an opportunity arose when a deacon from the
church asked for prayer to receive the fire of God and was prayed for. We have since been
asked to return to speak and share. This is breakthrough in the Welsh speaking Reformed
churches.
PRAYING ON CAERPHILLY MOUNTAIN FOR CARDIFF
On Saturday 4th October some 80 or so people gathered at
lunch-time on the farm of Andrew & Gill Crowe, a Christian couple, who opened their
farmhouse for a fellowship lunch and allowed us access to their land for prayer.
ISAIAH 40 Using a small trumpet as a symbol we recognised
the need to use our voices as a trumpet over the city of Cardiff and to declare His
Lordship and that the time had come for a new thing to be birthed and released. Together
we gave that trumpet call over the city. There were also tears and prayers for our city
and a call on God for His mercy and love to be made manifest. We asked the Lord
specifically for the "Keys" for this city that would loose and unlock. A number
of scriptures were shared about "The Gates" of the city and then being opened so
that the King of Glory would come in.... and much prayer followed.
ISAIAH 29 v 23-24 Prayer was also said for the young people
of the city and symbolically those with us were prayed for, that God do a mighty work.
Leaders were prayed for-where they had been dwarfed and deceived.... that they come forth
and grow and walk in God's truth and that they learn His ways. A picture was also shared
of the two largest buildings in the city centre being like two large gateposts..... the
gates being opened and Jesus standing in the city centre. Another similar picture was
received of the crucified Christ being lifted up in the very end of Queen Street, City
Centre, and everyone seeing and mourning for their sin and understanding the true meaning
of the Cross.
One church where a couple of them spoke testifies that
there has been such a release in their church since and things have just taken off.
