 Intercessors'
Reports - Dublin
- The fact - Brazil and Ireland together
- The date - From 3rd to 8th October
- The secret - Unity
- The key - Prayer
- The result - A new time for Ireland
Yes, we do believe that something really tremendous has
started in Ireland. 29 Brazilians with the privilege of praying together with our brothers
and sisters from Ireland. We were welcomed with balloons with the Brazilian colours, cards
of welcome in Portuguese, with a Portuguese speech by Pr. Fergus and, of course, a special
meal.
On Saturday while Gerson Ortega shared about worship with
the church, the rest of the group went prayer walking, praying for the: - government and
authorities; - system of education / universities; - youth
In the evening, after a time of worship, we went to TEMPLE
BAR, where there is an incredible amount of young people. Lots of drugs, prostitution,
sexual promiscuity and violence, but we could see a lot of empty souls waiting for someone
to share with them God's love, our hearts melted during this walk. We saw by faith, groups
of young people from the churches performing dramas, dance, playing instruments and
singing on the streets and we had the privilege imparting this fiery vision to some of the
young people who were with us.
The Saturday was amazing! I shared with Margaret Kehoe that
evening: "I'm sure that the spiritual reality over Ireland is different now. It is
very different compared with five months ago when I came here, it's like there is a huge
opening being created in the heavens now. I feel something in the air!" Hallelujah!
The next day were prove for that. On Sunday morning we preached in 8 different churches,
challenging them to go outside to show God's love to the lost. In the evening we had a
celebration of unity, what a privilege to preach that evening! the message was about
unity, of course. God gave us the opportunity to bring a deeper understanding of the
importance of togetherness, friendship and relationship. At the end of the meeting 29
pastors and leaders were holding hands in a sign of alliance and commitment with God.
Monday was the same, the Irish love and care was evident
everywhere. We had two seminars about prayer/revival where Rosalda Franca and Elizabeth
Albernaz shared with us their experiences. It was fantastic. Everyone was blessed. That
evening Rubens preached in a service especially for the youth. 300 of them heard about the
importance of prayer and unity. We had a special time of intercession.
On Tuesday we visited different places around Dublin
praying and proclaiming God's blessings upon the city. The Irish leaders blessed the city
from the top of a mountain, with the members of the church praying behind them and with
the Brazilian intercessors in the last "row" praying too. In our last evening we
had two very important times: first with John Mulinde's preaching - a powerful message
about God's time and prayer; a deep humility was poured out upon us and at the end of the
service our Irish brothers and sisters stood up and started clapping to honour the
Brazilian ones, this lasted for 8 minutes bringing many tears to our eyes. |
